Dash McKinley

Dash was posted to her hometown Police station of Mt.Thomas as a probationary Constable after starting her police life at Fitzroy. She was 19 and very much inexperienced when she joined the crew at Mt.Thomas. She has four brothers and three sisters of which she is the youngest. Her family have lived in Mt.Thomas all their lives, making her local knowledge the best at the station.
At the age of fifteen Dash was involved in a road traffic accident where the car she was travelling in left the road and overturned, her best friend who was driving was killed. This always brought back bad memories for Dash and put her off driving, she got through the driving exam at the police academy, but still she hadn't got over it.
Eventually Nick helped her come to terms with her experience and overcome the fear of driving, she will now drive the police vehicles without hesitation, although she still doesn't have a car of her own. So we regularly see her travel to work by pushbike
